Key Duties and Knowledge

• Understand and use the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule, with an emphasis on CH 61 and 61 for textiles and apparel.
• Use systems/tools to classify based on product descriptions and customer information.
• Identify and obtain information needed to properly classify products.
• Knowledge of 19 CFR
• Understanding of FTC labeling requirements
• Knowledge of HTS classification.

Required Skills

• Proficient in English and Spanish
• Intermediate or advanced level in Excel
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a compliance environment
