Dispatchers
Job Duties & Responsibilities
* ( Preferred )Basic knowledge of Mexican Customs rules and cross border documents (Pedimento / Factura Aduanal / Carta porte / E-manifest )
• Oversees road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc.
• Provides customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips, including no shows, cancellations and missed trips, using email, phone, text.
• Manages daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to interact with management personnel, vessel personnel, shipping agents, port authorities and customers.
• Ability to run project processes from initialization to completion.
• Ability to take direction and complete routine tasks.
• Ability to work on call during afterhours and on weekends if necessary.
To qualify as a Dispatcher, you’ll need.
• 1-2 years’ experience minimum
• Good verbal and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish.
• Problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills
